Mindful Movements Health Coaching is a health coaching practice focused on helping you uncover and connect with your individual potential in all areas of health.
What is health coaching?
The simplest way to answer this is with an analogy. Think of how a basketball coach helps an athlete reach their greatest potential as a basketball player. A health coach functions in the same way: I can help you reach your greatest potential in the very broad area of “health.” Examples of what “health” encompasses are defined in the paragraph below, which asks perhaps a more useful question.
Who is health coaching for?
Health coaching is for anyone who wants a partner to walk with them through the process of making changes in the areas of diet, nutrition, exercise, sleep, relaxation, stress management, time management, relationship goals, and finding meaning and purpose in life. What distinguishes health coaches from similar types of practitioners (such as dieticians and therapists) is our approach. While a dietician may prescribe a nutrition program, a health coach will help you co-create a plan that works for you. A coach will also help you adjust your plan as you progress, discuss challenges that arise, encourage you, and be a source of accountability as we move through these changes together.
